From a young age I have pursued fine art education from private establishments, schools and throughout college. Inspired by the southwest landscape and culture I moved to Flagstaff for college and earned a degree at Northern Arizona University in comparative cultural studies with an emphasis in art history,  and minors in fine arts, museum studies and Italian. Now located in Scottsdale, Arizona, the southwest has provided a unique and colorful palette for my ever evolving work. It is clear to see the transition of inspirations in my artwork from a small town just a ferry boat ride from Seattle, WA to the vibrant desert I now call home. Traveling, hiking, and camping inspire my art and provide the best subject matter for my paintings. My mind is consumed with colors and light and how they splay across the earth and water. I pull inspiration from impressionistic styles while including realistic elements to create colorful and eye-catching pieces. A collector described my work as "Little moments captured with exaggerated realism". These Moments are captured on my camera or in my sketchbook and brought to life on canvas in my studio.

I am passionate about teaching art and encouraging all ages to explore their creativity from any experience level. Art can encapsulate a moment with a unique human stamp of emotion and expression. My desire is to inspire others to create art, collect art, and gain a greater understanding of countless other incredible artists.
